Moscow will host the Fourth International Eurasian Forum ‘TAXI’ on August 4-5, 2016. The aim of the event is to bring together public authorities, the business community and the general public for the sustainable development of the taxi industry and the development of effective solutions to improve the quality and safety of the taxi. The event will be held with the support and participation of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the relevant federal and regional ministries and departments.
The business program of the International Eurasian Forum ‘Taxi’ will focus on the issues of legal regulation of the industry at the federal and regional levels, the definition of the role of taxis in the public transport system as well as the discussion of practical problems to ensure the safety and quality of taxi services, as well as optimization and taxi business in crisis economic conditions.
The format of the event includes an exhibition programme which includes specialized taxi vehicles, latest taxi models, automotive electronics, specialized equipment and software for the taxi industry. The organisers expect the Forum to draw about 600 representatives of federal and regional authorities, the business community and public organizations of Russia, CIS and far abroad.
The main outcome of the Forum will be a resolution to the suggestions and recommendations of the participants, which will be sent to the authorities of the Russian Federation state authorities in order to improve legislation and state regulation of passenger taxi.
